The Unitree G1-D Standard is a purpose-built, fixed-base dual-arm humanoid robot designed from the ground up for embodied AI data collection, robot learning research, and manipulation development. Unlike general-purpose humanoids, the G1-D is specifically engineered as a data acquisition platform — combining a high-DOF upper body, multi-perspective camera array, and NVIDIA Jetson Orin processing power into a stable, repeatable hardware foundation purpose-built for capturing the high-quality training data that modern AI models demand.
With 17 degrees of freedom in the core body (expandable to 19–31 DOF depending on end effector selection), a 500mm vertical lifting stroke, and dual 7-DOF arms capable of 3kg payload at 0.45m reach, the G1-D Standard delivers the physical dexterity needed to perform realistic manipulation tasks — the kind of real-world interaction data that simulation alone can't replicate.
