The RoboVerse

What is the RoboVerse?

It's a Discord server, not a product. Over 4,000 developers, researchers, educators and hobbyists who own robots — or are about to — helping each other get further, faster. Free to join, no purchase required.

Answers from people who own the same robot

Post a problem, get a reply from someone who hit it last month. No ticket queue, no support script — just developers who have already been through the thing you're stuck on.

Modifications and custom builds

Payload mounts, sensor additions, chassis changes, hardware tuning. If someone has bolted it on, wired it in or 3D-printed it, there's a good chance the files are already in the server.

Firmware, SDK and code

Sample code, integration questions, and the undocumented corners of every platform we carry. Members share working snippets instead of everyone rediscovering the same workaround.

Straight advice before you buy

Ask what a platform is actually like to live with — real battery life, real integration effort, which accessories earn their keep. Owner-level input, not a sales pitch.

A path, if you want one

Plenty of members are here just to build. For those who want to go further, the community feeds into certification through RoboUniversity and integrator work with Robo Inc.

What can I come here for?

A fair sample of what gets asked and answered on any given week.

  • First boot going sideways — calibration, networking, pairing, the steps the manual skips

  • Mounting something the robot didn't ship with — arms, cameras, LiDAR, custom payloads

  • Code that won't cooperate — SDK calls, ROS bridges, firmware versions, control loops

  • "Which one should I actually buy?" — humanoid vs. quadruped, and which spec sheets lie

  • Showing your work — post the build, get feedback, find people who want to help

  • Finding collaborators — research partners, contract help, or someone to hire
