The GO2-W shares its base with the GO2 EDU, which means you’re getting the same high-performance core:

  • 12 Nm torque motors on four joints per leg
  • Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity
  • Support for ROS 2, allowing for custom autonomy and simulation work
  • Long-range battery with up to 2 hours of runtime (activity-dependent)

Where the GO2-W stands apart is its omnidirectional wheels. Mounted on each leg, they allow for smooth, agile, and energy-efficient movement on flat surfaces—while still preserving the terrain adaptability of a traditional quadruped.

Hybrid Mobility, Built for the Real World

This hybrid configuration isn’t just for show. The GO2-W is designed to handle both outdoor environments and structured indoor settings. Its IP68-rated joints offer strong protection from dust and water, giving developers more freedom to operate in wet, dusty, or unpredictable conditions.

Seamless Control & Customization

Controlling the GO2-W is simple, whether you’re using:

  • The Unitree app (via onboard Wi-Fi)
  • The handheld remote controller
  • Or your own software stack via ROS 2

Users can toggle between gaits, adjust speed and motion in real time, and monitor system feedback directly from the app or touchscreen remote. This gives developers and operators full control over how the robot behaves in a variety of environments.
